Packaging and Accessories

The box for the eufy Mach V1 Ultra was large and just barely fit on our table so getting good photos of it or the Mach V1 Ultra itself was a challenge. The box has a black background and some of the side panels have the artwork designed for the box to be sitting sideways and others are for it to be sitting vertically. The box does have a handle on the side for easier carrying and while not in the pictures it did come with a thick layer of plastic over everything, it shipped directly from eufy and came in a matching cardboard box as well but I don’t know that will be the case if you buy it from them on Amazon. The first side of the box was simple and just says MACH by eufy Clean across the side in white on a black background. The side with the handle on it has the full Mach V1 Ultra name on it and has the description that lets you know this is an all-in-one cordless stick vac with a steam mop and it has a picture of the V1 Ultra to the side with steam coming out of the front. Then for the two vertical panels, one has the name and description up at the top and then it has a picture of the V1 Ultra that covers almost the entire box. The last side is vertical as well, but this one has more information. They break down each of the key features with a picture and a description in three different languages. That side also has a sticker at the bottom which has the UPC and serial number.

Once you get the box open the Mach V1 Ultra box is filled with standard Styrofoam covering everything. On top of that, they do have a clear packet that has the documentation inside so you can read that before diving in. The foam sections are split in half and they have the shape of the Mach V1 Ultra on top of the foam which is an interesting touch. Under the foam you have the Mach V1 Ultra itself sitting in two more large foam panels. There is a box with the accessories, and then under a fifth Styrofoam section, you can then pull out the charging dock as well. The Mach V1 Ultra and the dock both come wrapped in plastic to keep them protected. Also in the foam the included bottle of floor cleaner has its own cutout as well.

The Mach V1 Ultra comes with a box of accessories, a bottle of floor cleaner, and a charging dock. The dock is the largest accessory and it has a few things going on. There are two parts to the dock, the dock itself and a plastic cover that sits on top. When you have it off, the top of the dock has a warning printed on it that warns you to put the cover on before use. The dock also comes with plastic over the one glossy section which sits under the Mach V1 Ultra’s brush bar on the cover. The top design has dents in it near the rear for the rear wheels of the Mach V1 Ultra and the dents just behind the brush bar section are for the smaller front wheels, this helps the Mach V1 Ultra drop right into place when you put it on the dock. Then at the rear, the dock has a section that sticks up in the middle and has rubber on it, this is the charging part of the dock, one side has two contact bars that stick out and the left side has one, all three pop out when you sit the Mach V1 Ultra down because of the button right at the front that gets pushed down when you put the Mach V1 Ultra on it. On the bottom, the dock has a long power cord, but it comes wrapped up on the cord management, like with eufy’s robo vacuums they want to give you enough length to plug the dock in but allow you to keep the wiring clean. The cord uses just a two-prong plug that is right-angled, with no ground plug. The bottom of the dock does have an information sticker in the center and rubber feet at the front and back to keep it from moving around, but the most interesting part are the vents at the back.

The included hard flood cleaner is Mach by eufy Clean branded and is 300 ml in size. They say it is a child and pet-friendly cleaner that lifts dirt, grease, and tough stains off of hard surfaces. The back is a little cryptic in its ingredients listing. It says it is greater than 30% water and then has less than 5% nonionic surfactants detergent builder, fragrance, and benzothiazoline. To me, that is just saying that it is 95% water and 5% for everything else and I have no idea why they would hide that. This is the only cleaner that they list support for and each bottle is $14.99 which is expensive for the size. I hope users experiment a little and find some options that you can find at a local store because I know that I’m not a big fan of having to use an expensive cleaner that is only available online.

The rest of the accessories all come in the brown box that we found. This has four pouches of the Mach citric acid solution used to clean out the Mach V1 Ultra. You get a replacement filter and a second beater bar brush as well as a cleaning brush that is designed to help you clean the tube from the bottom of the Mach V1 Ultra up into the debris and dirty water container. They do still more of the filters which are $19.99 on Amazon and the multi-surface rolling brush is also available but is even more expensive at $39.99.
