G.Skill has certainly impressed me with their latest offering. I've finished the benchmarking a few weeks ago and switched my laptop from the G.Skill FM-25S2S-64GB to the Falcon and have noticed and incredible boost in performance. Videos no longer stutter and there's no lag between MSN conversations, the JMicron controller made it feel like I was back in the 56k days! Since many of us can't afford an Intel X25-M SLC SSD, the G.Skill Falcon is a great alternative with significantly improved sequential and random performance over their original design.

Sheer performance is not the focus of the N3200 Pro; rather the N3200Pro positions itself as an affordable RAID 5 solution for the home. Where the unit shines isn't with performance, although with a RAID 5 configuration the unit is capable of about 20 MB/s read and 10 MB/s write, but with features. The N3200 Pro shares the same features as the more expensive N4100 Pro and N5400 Pro, and not to mention the built in iTunes, print and media server are a great addition. In terms of price, the unit rings in at the mid $300 range; it's not cheap, but affordable. For a large household with an incline towards digital media the N3200 Pro NAS could definitely come in

"Antec has followed the motto 'If it's not broke, don't fix it', for some time now with their Performance One series of cases. The core function and style of the case is retained but they have made a few tweaks to improve on it. There is greater airflow with the improved vents in the front door and drive bay covers. As with its other siblings, the P183 is made of quality materials and is therefore quite sturdy and strong.

"We have seen many laptop coolers here at Bigbruin.com, and this would be the fourth from Hiyatek. Most of them operate in near silence, which is a bonus. That being said, the fan on this one doesn't seem to be doing anything useful as the drop in temperatures experienced with the HY-CF-6288-1 could be recreated just by using a wire rack we had lying around."

"I found the OCZ Technology Behemoth laser gaming mouse to not only respond well, but it also performed great on many different surface types thanks to its double laser engine. Most importantly, while conducting the testing my hand was very comfortable and relaxed. Toss in the facts that the Behemoth looks great, is sturdy and well constructed, and you have a winning combination."

"Fremont, CA, May 20th, 2009 – Corsair® www.corsair.com, announced today that Corsair Labs has set the world record for DDR3 frequency on a Core i7 system.
Corsair Labs achieved an astounding speed of DDR3-2533MHz with the aggressive memory timings of 7-8-7-20 using a triple-channel 6GB memory kit. This new world record, verified and validated by CPU-Z, the industry-standard tool for verifying overclocking results, is the first time this frequency has been achieved on a Core i7 system with 6GB of memory using three modules; most world record attempts use only a single 1GB module. Corsair Labs engineers used the award-winning Dominator GT 2000C7 memory with eVGA’s X58 3X SLI Classified motherboard to shatter the world record for memory frequency."

"The Western Digital RE2 750GB SATA hard drive is now two generations removed from being the latest and greatest in their family of enterprise class hard drives, but it didn't show its age when tested for use at home. While it performed well in typical desktop benchmarks, I can also see it being well suited to NAS duty, as a stand alone drive or in a RAID array."

"The breakneck pace of product development for graphics cards doesn't always generate bigger, faster, more powerful chips and cards. Sometimes a new product gets developed and introduced to the market that isn't a barn burner. Such is the case with this GTX260-based video card, the ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix. That doesn't mean it isn't a worthwhile product, or isn't worth the attention of Benchmark Reviews. Instead, it's usually a more focused design that is aimed at a tighter target market. As if the high end PC graphics card market isn't tight enough, ASUS has carved out a niche in their product line called Matrix, and adopted it into their Republic of Gamers.
The hallmarks of the Matrix range so far are enhanced cooling capacity, improved configurability, and unique visual designs. The 9800GT and HD4870 cards that were released in 2008 have a new sibling, the ENGTX260 Matrix, and there is clearly a family resemblance. This isn't the first GTX260 video card that Benchmark Reviews has tested, but let's see what's different about this one."
