The GTX 465 performs well for its price and responds well to
overclocking which seems consistent with its bigger brothers. The GTX 465
gives Nvidia a lower priced DirectX 11 part to compete with ATi's HD 5800
series cards which have seemingly had a stranglehold on the market. You
also get the latest benefits of Nvidia's cards including 3D Vision
Surround, PhysX and Purevideo HD.

"The forthcoming N68C-S UCC from ASRock is an low-end micro ATX socket AM2+ motherboard based on the NVIDIA GeForce 7025 chipset, featuring both DDR2 and DDR3 memory sockets and a CPU core unlocking tool, a feature usually not found on entry-level motherboards."

"While SSDs may be all the rage these days, there are still a lot of people chugging along with traditional HDD offerings. In fact in many cases, this is a preferable option as while slower, there are much bigger storage capacities available and they're much cheaper when considering the cost per GB. Some downsides to these units though, are noise output - in some of the faster drives - and in some cases heat. There are many products available to aleviate this issue, but today we're looking at one from Nexus."

ASRock has redesigned their "old" P55 series to include SATA III and USB 3.0 and this way they made them future proof, at least in terms of connectivity; the performance of the P55 Deluxe3 board is decent and has no problem at all reaching 4GHz with an i5 750 CPU.

"Not having reviewed a SilverStone case in the past, I was nevertheless aware of their reputation for quality and performance. Therefore, I had high expectations when the Fortress arrived here in the Tweaknews lab. To say that I was impressed with this chassis would be a bit of an understatement. With top-of-the-line cooling performance, a rich and innovative feature set, great looks and a roomy and convenient interior, this is easily one of the best chassis' I've had the pleasure to review."

"If you are looking for a cheap upgrade to your system that is going to give you the latest in mainstream DirectX 11 cards, you are going to be looking at getting either an HD 5670 or HD 5550 and Sapphire has a great lineup when it comes to either of these models with their HD 5670 Ultimate and the HD 5550 OC. For the $20 difference between the two cards, I would put my money on the HD 5670 Ultimate, not only are you going to get better performance and a faster card, you are also going to be getting a few included accessories and a much higher overclocking headroom."

There has been a trend lately of no maintenance liquid cooling solutions. These systems take the guesswork and complicated component selection out of the equation and bring simplicity and great performance to the table. Let's investigate how the CoolIT ECO A.L.C. performs as compared to a big, heavy air cooler.

Zalman is a name synonomous with cooling in the PC industry and they have enjoyed great success in the CPU and GPU cooling market. Recently Zalman have added Notebook/Netbook coolers to their product line-up and today Benchmark Reviews is looking at the ZM-NC2500 Plus Ultra Quiet Notebook Cooler, which boasts dual Intake fans, support for Notebook sizes up to 17" widescreen and a built in 3 port USB hub with a 2.5" SATA Hot Swap bay for extra convenience.

Zalman ZM-NC2500 PLUS Notebook Cooler @ Benchmark Reviews

"The CoolIt ECO A.L.C. brings many of the advantages of liquid cooling to the mainstream user without breaking the bank at a mere $69.99. The CoolIt ECO is a solid CPU cooling solution and allows the user to unclutter the case to increase airflow, all while remaining self contained and very easy to install. The two major foreboding aspects of liquid cooling, price and complicated install and maintenance, are not a worry with the CoolIt ECO. The CoolIt ECO is comprised of two main components, a pump with the contact block and a 120mm fan/radiator assembly. The pump is as easy to install as any air cooler, needing only four thumbscrews to secure it in place. The fan/radiator assembly installs in exactly the same manner as a standard case fan."

As different versions of Word are the bane of MS Office users, so too is Adobe Reader the bane of PDF's... it's unbearably slow and massively bloated for what most people need. Thankfully, there are alternatives that can provide greater functionality, faster load times, and a smaller memory footprint.
