My visit to the Mushkin suite was more about reconnecting and discussing the future more than covering what is new but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have anything new to show off. I did get to take a look at their latest power supply variations and a few of their Ridgeback DDR3 kits.
On the power supply front Mushkin is introducing a few new wattages to their Joule lineup like the 700 watt version in the photo below. As you can see it’s not a single rail design but uses Mushkin’s RailFusion to combine the +12V rails when needed to help with power hungry video cards. They are also showing off the Joules new 80+ Bronze certification, another notch in the belt for their budget PSU.
The ridgeback Redline’s I took a look at are sporting a speed of 2133MHz at 9-11-9-27, available in a 4 gig kit under the part number 996973. The black set is an 8 gig kit running at 1600Mhz with latencies of 9-9-9-24. Of course each is running at an Intel friendly 1.65 volts, perfect for your new Sandy Bridge build.
