Will there be any Consoles set up? With those big projectors, it might be fun to play some newer console games with eachother too...

We haven't really talking about consoles before or yet. I know other then Guitar Hero/Rock Band stuff, I don't really play console games. But that doesn't stop me from thinking about. Can't say we will but I will keep it in mind.

(2 questions )
1. Is it cool if we bring our own chair?
2. I have a 24inch CRT widescreen monitor, will I have sufficient room to put this on the table. It takes up a bit more space compared to a LCD. (If someone is sitting directly across they might need to pull the tables apart a little bit to keep from intruding into their space.)

Your own chair is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with people getting through the isles.

As for the monitor you can bring whatever you want, but it does have to fit into your table space. Our rows are placed back to back and we are limited on space where we wouldn't be able to pull them apart to accommodate. If you need the extra space picking up a second seat right across from you might be something to consider also.

Garfi3ld, thanks for the info. My monitors depth is 20.6inches so as long as I can fit it and my keyboard/mouse pad, should be fine.

the table depth should be 30 inches, that is what the white 6 foot table here in the office has atleast

i know me and some friends will be bringing a console or two...they'll prob have fighting games(UMVC3, SSF4:AE 2012, KOF) on them. good ole smash tournament is always fun too!

Most of the games on the list look good to me.

I like MW3, TF2, Portal 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, COD4, MW2, MNC, UT2k4.

I'd like to suggest Urban Terror. It's a stand alone Quake 3 mod, and I've always enjoyed it. It's free, but it's not on Steam or anything. You can grab it from here if you want to give it a whirl.

Anybody try out GoldenEye Source? Total conversion of HL2 into GoldenEye 64. Its actually VERY good!

Seconding this. I've been playing nonstop for the past two weeks or so and it would make an amazing addition, especially being free to play. Just hit open beta last Friday so anyone can get it now. If there's any Tribes 1 or 2 veterans around, it's definitely worth checking out.

Blacklight: Retribution just went into open beta, and after playing a few rounds, I'm a fan. It'd be pretty fun to get a game going of that, if possible. It seems pretty robust, but I haven't messed around with private/invite servers yet.

League of legends, dungeon defenders, team fortress 2, I have updated my pc and can run these games better now. Diablo 3 as well, but it looks like it won't be out yet by LAN time. :angry:
