"When it comes down to the bottom line the ThermoLab Baram 2010 cooler does the job it is designed to do with a bit of help. I say this because the cooler is specifically designed to be used with two 120mm cooling fans but none are included in the box. For the price that it currently is selling and to remain completely competitive, some sort of active cooling fan should have been included."

"The Vantec NexStar 3 Superspeed 3.5'' SATA to USB 3.0 External Enclosure is another beast in the Vantec line of products. This NexStar 3 Enclosure supports 3.5" SATA hard drives up to 2TB in size. The looks of this 3.5" enclosure keeps it in the same style of NexStar products with the black aluminum finish. The included USB 3.0 ensures maximum speed, as well as backwards USB 2.0 compatibility."

Walton Chaintech, a company which manufactures lots of products like SSDs, Memory Modules, Memory Cards and Graphics Cards, does also produce Flash Drives. The AstroDrive 266X I have received for review is the smallest in the series, maroon colored. The flash drive has very good performances right out of the box, but Walton Chaintech also included a special utility on the drive to boost the performance even more.

When you look back more than 5 years, picking an enclosure for your computer was a rather simple affair. You had beige, and beige, oh and maybe some off-white thrown in just to spice things up. Today beige is a thing of the past, and the market is flooded with every type of box imaginable to contain your parts. NZXT, you keep releasing a constantly refreshed supply of new cases that focus on all aspects of the market. Today we’re looking at their latest gaming case, aimed specifically at those who want a case with the looks of a sports car and the budget of an econobox.

"When presented with a chassis like Lian Li's PC-P50WB, it is very hard not to heap praise on it like a smitten middle school girl. There is, nevertheless, a hell of a lot to recommend this case. It looks good, has a fabulous feature set with many excellent tool-free elements and top shelf cooling."

The market for Radeon HD 5870 video cards has matured since the launch of this top-tier GPU in September of 2009. Development has continued on both the hardware side and the software side of the ATI family, and the ASUS EAH5870/2DIS/1GD5/V2 is one of several new 58xx series cards released by ATI AIB partners in the last few months that follow a new design pattern. The complexity of the 5870 reference design has given way to a more focused approach. A robust power supply, an efficient cooling package, and a simpler system for voltage control; all add up to a bigger bang for the buck, higher reliability and more headroom for overclocking. Several vendors have been trying to find the right recipe for maximizing the value proposition of the Radeon HD5870, and this time Benchmark Reviews is going to look very closely at the second generation Voltage Tweak EAH5870 model from ASUS.

“Honestly both the Griffin Elan Passport for iPad and Elan Sleeve for iPad are excellent cases for your iPad. They will both protect and look great while doing it. The materials seem very durable and the craftsmanship is high quality. With the design exception of the power/sleep button being covered on the Elan Passport, both models have been flawless to work with. I can easily recommend both products. As a word to the savvy shopper out there, never pay MSRP as it is usually way too high, just as in this case. The MSRP for the Elan Passport for iPad is $49.99 from the Griffin site, however you can find it on Amazon.com for less than $30. Also the Elan Sleeve is also $49.99 from the Griffin site and just $28 on Amazon.com. Finding great deals online on Griffin products is something I've found consistently and I commend them on allowing it to happen that way. So many companies today price their products right out of the market. Griffin is smarter than that."
