With its special triple chamber design and dual 120mm fans, the Fusion Remote Black runs quietly and coolly. If that weren't enough, the Fusion Remote Black boasts an included remote control and media management software. "

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 22, 2010 – Intel Corporation announced today that its award-winning Intel® Solid-State Drives (SSDs) are now available in 800 Best Buy* stores across the country and on BestBuy.com.

SSDs can replace or complement a traditional hard drive in a notebook or desktop PC and deliver noticeably faster computer performance when booting up, opening files and running software applications. With no moving parts, these SSDs deliver greater reliability and consume less power than conventional hard disk drives (HDDs). During the past decade, HDD speed has only improved 1.3 times, while Intel's processor speeds have improved more than 200 times1. This has caused a system bottleneck that SSDs can help solve. HDDs use a mechanical arm and spinning platter, which can sometimes result in a hard disk crash. An SSD uses flash memory chips and is 100 percent solid state with no moving parts. This makes an SSD extremely rugged, reliable and energy efficient. The biggest benefit is in performance, where an Intel SSD delivers up to 56 percent improvement* in system responsiveness for gamers, multimedia enthusiasts or anyone desiring to get more performance out of their new or existing notebook or desktop computer1.

"There is room for lots of hardware in the A90, with three big bays and six HDD mounts including a placement for a 2.5-inch drive. It is lightweight but sturdy and relatively easy to work in. The cooling was great and the look, in my opinion, is very appealing."

On our third day in Taiwan earlier this month, we left the hustle and bustle of the Computex show floor and hopped on a bus to Hsinchu, about 60 miles from the island-nation's capital. Hsinchu's Science and Industrial Park plays host to a Kingston factory where memory and flash products are assembled--and we got to enjoy a guided tour.

PC video games are still the best way to experience realistic effects and immerse yourself in the battle. Consoles do their part, but only high-precision video cards offer the sharp clarity and definition needed to enjoy detailed graphics. Armed with Voltage Tweak functionality, the ASUS GeForce GTX 465 delivers a healthy helping of graphical power at an affordable price. The ENGTX465/2DI/1GD5 model has plenty of headroom for overclockers to drive out additional FPS performance, while keeping temperatures cool. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the ASUS ENGTX465 against some of the best video cards within the price segment by using several of the most demanding PC video game titles and benchmark software available: Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, Resident Evil 5, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Metro 2033, and BattleForge.

Here at Futurelooks, we like technological innovations. Most of the time, these changes are really interesting. And, these changes often inspire further change throughout the industry. Silverstone has been a company that really pushes innovation and today we’re going to take a look at a computer case that’s as original on the inside as it is on the outside. The Silverstone’s SST-RV02S Fortress 2 takes what we expect inside a computer case and flips it on its side…literally.

"As more people incorporate media centre PCs in their households, portable, wireless control of these media systems is becoming more and more important. However, often times these wireless peripherals are a little bulky or you need seperate mice and keyboards. Today though we're taking a look a product known as the iPazzPort which encorporates a full QWERTY keyboard including function keys and keypad, along with a fancy touch pad mouse control."

"You don't have to play/enjoy World of Warcraft, the biggest MMORPG in the world, to fully appreciate this new wireless headset from Creative Labs. Of course fans (like us) will enjoy the game-based design and the voice distortion software that turns the user's voice into the likes of several characters from the RPG, but the World of Warcratf Wireless Headset is ideal for those who seek a wireless solution for gaming and an experience of excellent sound combined with extreme comfort. You can play through hours without feeling the weight or pressure of the headset and still enjoy high quality sound. Although is hard to save the praise for later, first we'll focus on describing the headset."

E3 2010 – Sports Games and Accessories Across Platforms

Sports fans of all types had something to see at this year’s E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. While other people were gawking at the Nintendo 3DS or Gears of War 3, the hoop stars weren’t disappointed either. Here are some of the notable sports games featured at the show.

E3 2010 – New to Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS

I’ll admit that I’ve always been somewhat of a Nintendo fanboy. I grew up playing Contra and Gun Smoke on the original NES, graduating to Street Fighter II on the SNES, Mario 64 on the N64, all the way up to Wii Sports Resort on the Wii. That’s why I just had to visit the Nintendo booth at E3 2010.

"Even with all that the XFX HD 5450 offers for the mainstream user, it is perhaps the HTPC crowd that will benefit the most. Not only does the card have a low-profile design, a low power requirement and brackets that will allow it to easily fit into any SFF case, but it also has technologies for improving HD playback. This is thanks to Avivo and Accelerated Video Transcoding, both of which enhance HD content though the graphics card, reducing the strain on the system."

Digital cameras have become the norm for almost all home consumers. While most of us do not have $2500 to drop on a Cannon EOS 5D DSLR, we can afford something better than the cameras built into our phones. Geeks offers cheap digital cameras so, today we are reviewing the Kodak M341

The SmartSwipe is incredibly simple to use and it works with all major credit cards (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discovery and JBC). While it should work on all secure check out pages I'm sure there will be the odd one where it's not supported. Those are the exceptional shady ones I would avoid. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the SmartSwipe and would be happy to recommend it to anyone who has been hesitant to buy online because they had to manually input their credit card information.

Computer Ed talks about the recent rash of thunderstorms locally and revisits surge protection on your PC, explaining why you need to replace your surge protector often and also explains when it is wise to just unplug the PC to ensure the best protect. Also talks about why a business PC that has been surge should be considered for replacement after surge damage instead of repair. Computer Ed also provides a follow-up to an article posted on the blog, Crosshair in the Soup. It seems that the issue exhibited with the X6 processor not always coming out of idle as it should using Cool n Quiet is also on the Gigabyte 890FX board as well.
Ed takes a look at the Thermaltake A90 case. While he looks at the typical aspects of a case that are normally looked at, he also took some time and look at the marketing of the Thermaltake Armor A90 as an MMO inspired case.
