Happy Friday everyone! I woke up this morning to a dead battery in my car but I’m not going to let that get me down. Planning on working on a Hackintosh build tonight with a little DOTA 2 in between! The only thing that could make today better would be a few reviews from our affiliates right?

Cooler Master introduced their newest case today, the Elite 431 Plus. With A MSRP of less than $60 and features you wouldn't normally find on a budget case like a black interior and a window it looks like it could be the perfect balance between being a cheap a** and not looking like a cheap a**.

The Elite 431 Plus is the perfect choice for DIY computer projects on a budget. It is constructed primarily of high quality steel that lends to its strength and long-term durability. It is engineered to make it possible to upgrade to high-end components at a later date. Long graphics cards such as the AMD Radeon HD 6990 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 will fit with ease. The Elite 431 Plus also supports larger CPU Coolers such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Easily configure the case as a home server or workstation with five 3.5" HDD bays. Enjoy the blazing speed of USB 3.0 included in the front I/O panel connections and a convenient 5.25" bay X-dock that allows you to dock a 3.5" HDD quickly and safely. This X-dock can be removed if all three 5.25" bays are needed for other purposes.

As of yesterday, Jens Bergensten is the new lead developer on Minecraft. He will have the final say in all design decisions, so he will kinda sorta become my boss, I guess. I've promised him to not pull rank. ;)

Western Digital, one of the world’s biggest storage companies, said today that it has resumed hard drive production in Thailand as flood waters recede in that country.

It may not be directly PC related, but I came across this and found it very interesting. Not only is it impressive that its a 100+ MPH RTR kit but the integration with iPods and iPhones is amazing.

"The XO-1 is not a toy and is intended for use by experts only," says Traxxas, who warns that the XO-1 carries a risk of fire, injury or death! Further suggestions include operating the car only on a closed course, like a real racetrack or drag strip, where the XO-1 should be able to go 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds, on the way to its 100-mile-per-hour-plus top speed.
