"With the recent release of the first fully DirectX 11 compatible graphics card, AMD have dealt a good first blow to nVidia, with the 5870 offering performance exceeding nVidias fastest single GPU card the GTX285 and the 5850 offering impressive performance for £100 less. However if history tells us anything it is that high end cards are not where most purchasers will be putting their hard earned cash and as a result the 5700 series will be far more critical to AMDs success in this latest generation of graphics cards, than the 5800 series. If this mid-range series of graphics card sell well then AMD will do very well the graphics hardware market, it really is that crucial."

"While the HD58xx-series card may have a bit more kick to them, the HD5770 should be able to give the consumers good performance with a decent price. To help us find out, HIS hooked us up with a HD5770."

TechwareLabs alone has reviewed several of INWIN’s new cases which include, “Allure,” and the “B23 and have been very impressed with their design and function. Recently, INWIN has now sent us their “X-Fighter” case to review which initially looked a lot like the INWIN B2 case, but shortly after removing the case from the box, we were pleasantly surprised by the differences.

The Sapphire Radeon 5750 did perform much better than I had expected it to. When comparing it against the 4000 series cards we could see that it was a very nice jump in performance, while others stayed very close to the new mid-range low end card.

"Evercool's Transformer 4 CPU cooler, with its dual 120mm fans, 8mm copper heatpipes and direct touch design should be a top performer in the CPU cooling market. Its enormous size alone would seem to insure excellent cooling. However, as we see in the testing, the T4 just isn't able to keep up with the competition."

Coming right on the heels of the HD5800 series launch, ATI brings us another batch of cards based on class-leading 40nm GPUs and GDDR5 memory. The new cards, Radeon HD5770 and HD5750, use the same architecture as the new HD5800 series, but ATI basically cut the Cypress chip in half to create a brand new video card with hardware specs somewhere between an HD4870 and an HD4890. If you're thinking that's not a bad place to be, but want to see some proof of how the HD5770 performs, Benchmark Reviews is pleased to offer you the results of our extensive testing.

AMD's next step in their Radeon HD 5000 release strategy is the Radeon HD 5770 which is based on the new 40 nm Juniper core. It features 800 shaders and 1 GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit bus. Essentially this makes the card perform like a HD 4870 but adds new features like DirectX 11, ATI Eyefinity and reduced power consumption.

Overall, I was pleased with the NZXT Beta. It is much like any other mid-tower case out there today. Advantages include the fact that installation is easy albeit no manual is included. There is a lot of room for all your hardware. With the ability to have a total of four 120mm fans, cooling should not be an issue. Some things that could be improved and that I would like to see are the addition of a removable motherboard tray and better build quality.

Zotac's new GeForce GT 220 is based on NVIDIA's new GT 216 GPU which features 48 shader processors. While this is certainly not enough to play games at high resolutions it is sure fine for casual gaming. Windows desktop use and HD video playback is what this card is really targeted at and here it shines with extremely low power consumption and good feature set.

"Today I am going to look at the EyeClops Mini Projector. The product is exactly what it sounds like, a very small projector that can be used to project video and other content from a variety of sources onto walls or ceilings. The device is aimed at kids, but mom and dad might find the EyeClops Mini Projector is fun to use as well."

"Today we are looking at the HIS Radeon HD 4830 512MB Graphics Card. This is a budget to mid range card from AMD delivering good performance in some of the latest games. HIS aren't heard from very much in the UK, but they offer good value for money, decent cooling, and a good warranty."

The Samsung SC-MX20EL comes packed with useful features especially considering its small size and relatively low cost. It sure is nice to go to a sporting event with a camcorder that can fit in your pocket and still capture video on the other side of the field using the 34x optical zoom. I think most consumers will be quite pleased with the results given the $150 cost of this device.
