Often, I find myself just looking over a product for minutes on end before even looking over the documentation. I mean, who wants to look at that stuff? Anyway, while sitting here looking over a rather sharp motherboard, the word ASRock seemingly jumped out at me. It’s nice to occasionally be surprised when opening a product box. Let’s take a look at the ASRock X58 Extreme 3 motherboard and you’ll understand the happy confusion.

up to their reputation of quiet operation thanks in part to the included
140mm NF-P14 fan. The SecuFirm2 mounting hardware remains one of the easiest
to install among high end coolers and cooling performance is good. Full
compatibility with all current AMD and Intel sockets mean that no matter
what CPU you have, the NH-C12P SE14 has you covered. The C-type design of
the NH-C12P SE14 should allow for a wide range of motherboard and case
compatibility.

Cooler Master is pleased to announce its newest addition to the Notepal product line, the Notepal U3. The Notepal U3 is the ultimate cooling solution for those users with up to 19” notebooks. With the introduction of the U3, the Notepal U series can support 7” – 12” with the U1, 14” – 15” with the U2, and now 17” – 19”.
Flexible Cooling
Each Notepal U series has the flexibility to change to meet the specific cooling requirements of a user’s notebook/netbook. - Patent-pending adjustable fan with speed control function, powered by one USB.
- Quick release fan, easily lock on, replace and remove.
- Unique fan speed control clip for quick setup and replacement.

Intel Creates World's First End-to-End Silicon Photonics Connection with Integrated Lasers; Could Revolutionize Computer Design, Dramatically Increase Performance, Save Energy
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 27, 2010 – Intel Corporation today announced an important advance in the quest to use light beams to replace the use of electrons to carry data in and around computers. The company has developed a research prototype representing the world's first silicon-based optical data connection with integrated lasers. The link can move data over longer distances and many times faster than today's copper technology; up to 50 gigabits of data per second.
