titleWhile we were making our booth and suite tours I did sneak up into the EVGA suite for a few minutes to see what they had going on. They didn’t have any big product launches on hand on the video card size of things obviously but they did have a prototype of a new product they are working on.

My tour was very quick but they did show off two small mini ITX systems. As it turns out EVGA is planning on packaging and selling these small gaming systems under their brand. They didn’t have an ETA or many details at the time but as you can tell it would be sporting EVGA cooling, VGA, and motherboards.

They did have their new X79 Dark, much like other manufactures they will be doing an X79 refresh with Ivy Bridge CPU’s incoming. The cooling for this board has one of the largest EVGA logo’s I have ever seen on it, there is no way anyone will miss what board you are running with this one. Beyond that is has 12+1 PWM and support for quad SLI as well.

The rest of the suite was just showing off their current product line. I am still always impressed when I see the power cord for their 1500 watt power supply. It looks more like something you would use to hook up a stove or a dryer.

You might call him obsessed or just a hardcore geek. Wes's obsession with gaming hardware and gadgets isn't anything new, he could be found taking things apart even as a child. When not poking around in PC's he can be found playing League of Legends, Awesomenauts, or Civilization 5 or watching a wide variety of TV shows and Movies. A car guy at heart, the same things that draw him into tweaking cars apply when building good looking fast computers.
