steam

That's right, you can now setup multiple install locations on steam. Not to mention you can also sort through and see the installation size of all of your hardly played games.

Here is how you go about doing this.

  • Make sure you have the Beta client installed
  • Start Steam with -dev  AKA create a shortcut and change the save target to look like this

    D:\Steam\Steam.exe -dev

  • Go to console and type install_folder_ui
  • Add other folders as needed that have the space you need

You might call him obsessed or just a hardcore geek. Wes's obsession with gaming hardware and gadgets isn't anything new, he could be found taking things apart even as a child. When not poking around in PC's he can be found playing League of Legends, Awesomenauts, or Civilization 5 or watching a wide variety of TV shows and Movies. A car guy at heart, the same things that draw him into tweaking cars apply when building good looking fast computers. I've been wanting to do this for my SSD, as it's not big enough to hold all my STEAM games, but i think a few of them on there wouldn't be a bad idea!
Good find Wes!!!!

I got the dev shortcut working, but after entering the command into the console, it returns:
>>> command not found: install_folder_ui

EDIT: Update to beta client required.
