Lite-On iHOS104 Blu-Ray Drive

I have been looking at these drives for awhile. Not this one specificly but blu ray in general. Not sure if I want to drop the hammer and invest in a drive and PowerDVD but it does seem like a good option. The drive does seem like its a great deal and seems to perform well for what you are paying.

I have always heard that you should use PowerDVD for blu ray's, I might be wrong though.

It is a very good drive, especially considering the cost vs other Blu-Ray options. And It comes with PowerDVD, which is a pretty good playback, typical functions and all that.

The only problem with the version it comes with is that it won't output any audio above 2 channel.

Nice catch Nacelle, deal breaker for me then. Boooo!

You just have to buy the drive and do some hunting for "freeware".
