Glad to see that the price isn't too bad. I would like to see them lower but it's not stupid expensive either.

Still, one 80gb SSD and a 1TB Caviar Black drive is still cheaper. You get more storage and your computer will be faster with an SSD. Now games won't be as fast as with this drive but it will be cheaper.

I know that they also make a small 74gb drive that's pretty cheap.

I was talking cheaper if you bought the 80gb Intel SSD and 1TB WD Caviar Black compared to the 600gb Velociraptor drive.

Still good to see WD pushing platter drives though, they are nowhere near dead yet. The tech that they use for platter drives is just crazy stupid. All the little gears and motors. Stuff has sure matured in the last 5 years.

Since I don't have editing capability, I'll just tell you. At the bottom it says...

Overall

I included the price per GB graph to give everyone an idea of the value of the new Velociraptor. A MSRP of $328 for the 600 GB and $299 for the 450GB may seem a little pricy.

The price that's in orange is missing from what's posted.
