So, for instance, I want to download the BattleForge demo and it will actually be the full game?

I read it as being a full version with micropayment.. meaning you get the basic game but if you want extras youve gota fork up the $. I didnt try this one.

BattleForge is a Card-based game, I believe, and it quickly went to free-to-play. If you buy it in-store, you get credit for in-game cards. I think. Never tried it, just read about it.

There are some decent things here, and it took me a bit to find about the free games for owning certain video cards. I believe Nvidia users also get (may be just a demo) of Peggle Nights (or some different form of Peggle). HL2:DM and Lost Coast should be free for everyone; DM is not played much, and Lost Coast is a tech demo. I know there are storefront sections to show which games are under $10 and $5, and there may be a listing for free games there too.
