This could be the tipping point for me. Now if only MW2 was this price.

Lol if only CoD4 was this price. It will be a long time before MW2 drops in price, because they know people will pay $60 for it. Just like Wiis, high demand yields high and unmoving prices. If anything, I'd predict MW2 to drop price on December 12, 2012. Lol.

I kinda figured that. It seemed like it should've been. But I remember looking when MW2 came out and some places still had it at $40.

I don't often look up prices for CoD4. Played it to death on every system, just about tired of looking at it. However (getting closer to on-topic), I do like the Zombies mod we got for CoD4, just needs a pretty-facation update. But I have no problem shooting ugly zombies.

Yeah, I've found having it on Steam has been quite nice.

Yea, it probably would be pretty nice on Steam. But is it easy to install mods for that version? I know Steam reorganizes some files and folders when it installs games, so I didn't know if mods could even be done in the same way. I imagine they can, but are they held and used in the same folders? I like the mods I have found for CoD4, so I would want to keep using them. It would be awesome if they transferred with the Steam Cloud aspect.

Anyone notice that it's $60 for 4 copies? $15/per isn't bad. The finance committee told me to ask again later. I already blew my allowance on the Avatar Bluray. Doh!

Man, I forgot what a solid game this was. I bought it right when it came out, but hadn't really ever played it due to the release of Modern Warfare 2.

Last night, I actually got this a friend who had been out of the gaming loop for a while and we had a mini-lan at my house. Really fun times.

Off topic: was Avatar a good movie, or was it just about the special effects and the 3D in theaters? I didn't get a chance to see it (i'm sad about it), but i never heard that it was a good story, just that the graphics were awesome and the 3D was cool.
Also, is it in 3D if you have the big bucks to buy the 3D TV's or Computer monitors?

I thought Avatar was a pretty good movie, even excluding the graphics. The night I went to see it was the night I wrecked my car, which sucked, but I still think it was somewhat worth it. If the wreck hadn't happened, I probably would've thought it was a great movie and a great day. As for the 3D bluray, I'm not sure if it's true support. There are so many techs out there for 3D, and it sounds like things won't be compatible and on the same level for awhile. Honestly, 3D was nice for it, but I don't know that it would make that big of difference for the home version. The effects in the movie seemed more subtle and atmospheric.

The 3d version won't be released until later this year. It's a long movie, 162 minutes, and I was never bored. I can rarely sit that long in front of a TV without wanting to get back to my PC. It was good enough to keep me watching.
