This is a pretty new game, decent reviews, and only 5 dollars until thursday! Single-player, multiplayer, and co-op Invasion for a great price. I'll be picking it up with the DLC.

I was gifted this game during the Secret Santa... and I have not had a chance to really get into it.
Ive played into the first 20m without a single alien sighting, but its creepy as hell!

The single player stories are unpleasantly short. But the multiplayer holds great potential.

I bought this game for full price the day it came out.

I say we give multiplayer a shot at the lan then!

Is this anything like the original 2? I've heard not so pleasant remarks about how it isn't close to what the originals were in terms of online multiplayer.

I played the original 2nd, loved it. I'll find out this weekend if it is. It should be somewhat, but it's dang cheap, and I can't argue with that. And I've tried to get people into the original multiplayer... it should be a bit easier with fresh graphics now...
But I would love to do the original too.

Update: Story is a bit scripted, but the intensity and innovation lets me accept it. Game is huge, graphics are amazing, and multiplayer should be intense. They made the aliens move so perfectly, and you can hardly notice them in the dark. Marine storyline feels like what Doom 3 should've been; dark, intense, and more open in where enemies appear. Combat is close and visceral. Definitely worth playing.
