So I had to take off work today to have some surgery done today. I have what is called lyhpomas. They are caused by fat cells sticking together under the skin. One of them is causing my had to go numb because it is sitting on my ulnar nerve aka the nerve that is your pinky and ring finger. Most of the time you can't even see them. Most people will never know that you have them. I have done a bunch of research on these. They don't know why/what causes them. They don't hurt unless like in my case its right on my arm were my arm sits on my desk. Hopefully all things go well. Just getting local and then they cut them out. Nothing crazy but I still get a bit nervous.

Well it was just a consultation today. Next Wednesday is surgery. 8:30 am is go time :)

Well, had surgery today. Went better than I thought it would! Had 12 lyhpomas removed. I look like I got in a fight with a knife. I have cut's all over. 4 on my right arm, 4 on my stomach and 2 on my right arm.

The biggest one was on my stomach. It was about the size of a golf ball. The worst part was smelling the burning flesh went they made the cuts, Ewwwwwww, lol.

Recovering nicely. Starting to feel some pain but nothing bad. Need to go back a couple of more time and have the rest taken out but the ones that they did take out where the worst one aka giving me problems.

Good to hear everything went well, hope you see a smooth recovery. I know it sounds gross, but did you get to see any of them? After having something like that, I know curiosity would get the best of me.

I was watching about 1/2 the time. They did look really gross. Kinda like corn or something. The one that they pulled outta my stomach was huge. That is why I had it removed.

Yes they are! Feeling better with the drugs. Starting to bruise up pretty good. Can't wait till the g/f gets home and see's me. She is gonna freak.
