Free 42" Plasma

I was out driving around this afternoon, and I spotted a tv in a dumpster...
I pulled over for a closer look, and saw that it was an LG 42" screen. It looked like it was in good shape, so I decided to take it home.

Never realized how much heavier plasma is than LCD!

Took it home, plugged it in.. and voila!

Free 42" plasma screen!

Currently its attached to the kids computer, I needed a video source, and their machine was closer the front door.

Well let me first start off by saying.

WHERE THE HELL DID YOU FIND A 42 FOOT PLASMA SCREEN. ... LOL!!! (According to Title)

HAHA. Just messin' I knew what ya meant.

That's pretty sweet man! Hope it stays working. But there has to be a reason it was put there. Good Luck!!

The dumpster was behind the AV store that in in the strip with my store. Probably an upgrade was done.

I have noticed that it seems to "sparkle" in areas with alot of contrast.

But you cant see the sparkle effect unless you are up very close. From across the room, it looks great!

lol, but that really is awesome man, gotta love finds like that.

That is amazing. I'd just be happy with a free 24" LCD or LED for PC with HDMI. Lucky day.
