Have you tried DoW? It's probably my favorite RTS like that, and I believe it was similar to Company of Heroes (same developers for sure). But yes, I can agree with you on the issues with SC and RTS in general. I don't like the resource farming aspects often, and they can often break down into the same types of strategies and games. If SC2 is just higher graphics, I'll be sure to avoid it. Not that I hate SC, but I don't care about high graphics. It looks nice, but the game itself needs updates, and I don't want to get involved in the Blizzard Battle.Steam, er, Net.
