For users who were affected by Ubisoft's DRM servers failing the other weekend, locking every consumer who legitamely bought Assassin's Creed 2 out of their game (the DRM in it requires a constant internet connection to those servers to verify authenticity), an apology letter was sent including their choice of one of the following: H.A.W.X., Heroes over Europe, End War, or Prince of Persia.

Kinda reminds me of an abusive relationship... instead of correcting things so it doesn't happen again, here's a shiny gift!

Kinda reminds me of Christmas with divorced parents.
Daddy DRM gives you a present and it didn't come with batteries.
Mommy Marketing makes up for it by buying you something extra.

I wish I bought Assassin's Creed 2 when I had the chance.

That is your only option, since the DRM does it's job and stops pirated versions. /sarcasm

Pirated versions were apparently available the night it released, and guess who WEREN'T locked out of their game?
