Back when we had just heard of Dota, man I don't even remember what LAN that was but it was a while ago, Twodavez introduced us to another mod that was similar but was more of a PvE-type. The was a really long lane and mobs of enemies that spawned and you and your team leveled up to keep them from the base... or... something of value. It was almost like a tower defense game without towers, just heroes. Anyone remember the name?

It would make a pretty amazing old school tourney! Although you'd need to distribute the certain mod to everyone the LAN prior so that they could try all the champs. It's very inconsistent on what they do from mod to mod and there is no way to see what they do without choosing them and playing a few levels with them... Some have really good early games and Terrible late games, some just suck all together!
