Intel giving away multiple processors at NeXus LAN

I hope this is ok to post here as I didn't see a spot for just LAN parties and I didn't want you all to miss out. We just found out that our Intel rep will be bringing a couple of processors to give away at our next LAN. Here's the details, we hope to see you all there:

EARLY REGISTRATION DRAWING: We will be holding another pre-registration contest. In order to qualify for the drawing, you must be pre-registered by March 20th. However, the earlier you pre-register, the more chances you have to win. Just like last time, you will receive one entry into the drawing for each week before the LAN that you are pre-registered. You do not have to pre-pay to be eligible for the drawing, but you must be present to win.

Sounds awesome! I'm not in the need for a processor, but I'm always down for some LAN action. Are you guys planning on playing any Bad Company 2? I might be able to make it to this.

We are in the process of voting on tournaments. If you want BC2 as a tourny, come to the forums and vote for it.

Otherwise, I am sure there will be people there playing it during free play.

I will not be there. With the new one, i'm not sure i could sneak out of the house for a weekend like that. I've already got Stomp Fest scheduled, but i'd be interested in going back to NeXus next Oct if they have one that time!

The only problem with Bad Company 2 is there is no lan server. Once someone releases the server files that might change. But right now only the big server farms have them.

That's what I was just reading on the Nexus forums too (that BC2 doesn't have lan play). That sucks, we played BC2 last night and I really liked it except for the lack of LAN play... maybe things will be different by the time of the LAN.
