I know it was just for the WOW factor, but how many games would even support such a system. I can't imagine a developer spending all that time and energy to stretch the screen that far to the sides. I would've been more impressed with having a 3x3 wall of monitors... But i gues that's just my single screen thinking :-)

Actually most games will support it flawlessly, since it's just another resolution setting. You may have to mess with FOV settings to make it look "just" right as the game's camera code may not correctly handle really large resolutions.

Other than that... anyone know why they're spending so many resources on getting huge multi-monitor solutions vs. one consumer-grade extremely high resolution projector? Sure, projectors have some upkeep cost but they're also highly portable, and you get to choose your desired screen size.

I heard that there's a work-around for Source games that removes the "fisheye" look on the side monitors. With that many, you should almost be seeing what's behind you.
