my new rig requires a sound card to get 5.1, and what luck, diamond 5.1 sound card from the lanoc lan party. After looking through the 150-200$ sound cards, i decided to give this 16 dollar one a try.

Works like a charm. Better than my realtek onboard sound from the previous motherboard. Software is stable, and simple (had to download from website for windows 7.) Surround sound is very clear, base is loud and clear.

Yeah if you need a sound card these work great.

I don't purchase anything from Diamond anymore. I had a Radeon x1950pro artifact on me if it ever was shut off and got cold. I was going to get it replaced, but I was just over the 1 year warranty. When other companies have 3 year or lifetime, these guys had 1 year. BS! Pay attention to that when you're buying stuff.
