Hard Drive Failure!

So it just figures, 3 days until the lan and my hdd fails! It had been showing signs of failure for a few months. After it was idle for awhile and you would try to access something, it would make a click, then a spin up noise. I know its bad!
At least I was prompted to buy a new drive a few weeks ago.
I picked up a 1TB 7200RPM Hitachi drive.

So this morning, the machine locks up. Its still bootable, but BARELY!

In the process of cloning the drive... keep your fingers crossed!

Have you run Spinrite on it? That'll do wonders.

My compuer doesn't like Spinrite, it keeps getting stuck at a certian point...

Maybe I will later, but for now, Im just gonna ghost it to another drive and be done with it.

Since the computer was down anyway, Ive decided to completely disassemble and clean the computer. Took me most of the day yesterday, but its looking pretty good at the moment.
