I am beginning to spec out my spring build. I believe I may have my wife talked into UP TO $1K in budget for this rig....
What would you all build?
Detailed price lists with links for online retailers is appreciated.

I do NOT need Hard drives, Optical Drives, or OS.

something like this currently with a case from me lol

But by the time you build sandy bridge will be out along with who knows what else. You won't be able to spec it out until you have money in hand really. Things change so quickly

I had actually begun spec'ing a VERY similar machine this morning when I decided to post this question.

I would like to change my case as well... What do you have? I was eyeing the NZXT Phantom White.
