Called EVGA today and i'm going to use the Step-up program to trade in my 2 480's for 2 580's. Cost? $20, I love you EVGA, woohoo. Just made my day.

Quick bump to this thread.

Sent out my 480's today. The GTS 450 from LanBox is taking their place. Should have the 580's by the time I get home. Couldn't of come at a better time.

Once I get them installed i'll run 3D Mark and post the score.

Also, if everything works out i'll have an extra copy of 3DMark 2011 that I will sell to someone cheap. I will let ya know when I get back from CES.

Waiting for the 580's to arrive. Also ordered the EVGA Backplates just like I had on my 480's. I really like how they clean up the back of the PCB. I will post pic's when I get them installed with and without the backplates on.

Can't wait to get back into gaming.

Ran 3DMark11 on the 450 and it wasn't too bad but it was way lower than my 480's which I knew was going to happen.

Got the 580's in and the backplates on. They were a penis to get on, some idiot at EVGA thought that it would be a good idea to use a #6 torx screw instead of just a phillips. So a quick trip to my local Ace hardware and we where in buisness. I really like the way that it turned out. I also added another fan to the H50 so now it's a push pull design instead of just a push. Helps out a bunch with cooling and it's blowing across the backplate of the top 580 cooling the PCB.

From what I've read over at Corsair they want you the pull the air from the outside of the case across the radiator into the case. Kinda weird I know but the air outside the case is cooler then the air inside the case. Remember, on the 800D I only have 1 140mm intake fan, that is it. So if I swapped the cooling fans I would have negative pressure in the case, meaning, I would have more air exhausting out of the case then going in aka not good. I haven't tried it the other way but I did dial down the top 3 fans to pull less air outta the case and it seems to be helping.
