Installation is really simple with the ECO which was a pleasant surprise. I've definitely installed air coolers that have been trickier than the ECO and from start to finish you should be able to get your system watercooled in under 30 minutes (including removing your motherboard). . .

"Noctua have a justified reputation of silent, yet powerful cooling. Partnering with the Austrian Institute of Heat Transmission and Fan Technology(!) allows some serious science behind their products, and as seen in the performance of their other kit we’ve reviewed it seems to work. So it is with anticipation that I will be looking at their huge NH-D14 cooler."

We've learned a lot about NVIDIA's GF100 (Fermi) architecture over the past year, and after what seemed like an eternal wait, the company has officially announced the first two cards as part of the series; the GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480. To start, we're taking a look at the latter, so read on to see if it GF100 was worth the wait.

"Xigmatek's Durin D982 CPU cooler lives up to its diminutive namesake in size, although I doubt that the Norse dwarf was as loud as the latter day Durin. To be fair, this cooler would be much more at home in a low power (HTPC, for instance,) system than in the high-watt performance arena in which it was tested."

When you think about Gigabyte, motherboards usually come to mind. Fierce business competition can force a company to branch out, which is why Gigabyte works with many different products such as PC graphics accelerators and PC peripherals. Gigabyte sent Benchmark Reviews their latest gaming mouse. With a pro-laser 6000 DPI sensor, 32KB built-in memory for combination macros, customizable buttons and a very appealing design, the Gigabyte Ghost Xtreme appears as a very interesting product for hardcore gamers. Benchmark Reviews tests the Gigabyte GM-M8000X Gaming mouse in this article to see if this new contender is good enough for PC gamers.

"I don't usually rip DVD's but when I got the chance to try out the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum software, I just couldn't resist. It is a very light weight tool that you can use to copy or rip almost any DVD movie to many popular formats like AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, 3GP (Blackberry and others), iPod/iPad, PSP and more. It is pretty easy to use and the ripping is fast too."

It’s not enough for a notebook stand to simply prop up your laptop anymore; we want it to be an effective cooling pad and we want it to have some extra features to boot. The CoolerMaster  NotePal ErgoStand, despite a somewhat awkward name, seems to fit the bill quite well.

I have been using the Microsoft Zune for a little over a month now, and I am really enjoying it. I would not recommend it for those who want a super portable media player, but if you want to transport a fairly large collection of audio and video files with you, this 30GB unit can accommodate you nicely. I see it as a good choice for use at work, with a home stereo, or in a car.

"FSP Group's Zen 400 is one of the very few silent power supplies on the market today, and has proven to be an excellent PSU during testing. With an 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency rating, a distinct look and great performance, this is an excellent product for the silent PC niche market."

I had the opportunity to try out the first Scosche solCHAT solar-powered Bluetooth speakerphone a while ago and was generally pleased with what it had to offer. The second-generation Scosche solCHAT II (CBHSOL2) takes on the exact same form factor, but it comes with a few minor upgrades worth noting.

In late January 2010, AMD released a new series of processors that fills in some of the gaps in their Athlon-II and Phenom-II Dual, Triple, and Quad-Core Lines. Most of the newly released processors are really just 100MHz clock speed bumps on the old versions. We have also seen the addition of some triple and quad core Athlon-II processors. In this article Benchmark Reviews focuses on the newly released AMD Athlon-II X2-255 AM3 ADX255OCGQBOX processor. Based on the Regor core, the Athlon-II X2-255 has a 3.1GHz clock speed, up 100Mhz from the Athlon-II X2-250 at 3.0GHz which was released last summer. The Athlon-II X2-255 is at the very low end of the newly released processors and represents a value based market at only $75. Benchmark Reviews is going to use the Athlon-II X2-255, with its support for DDR2 RAM up to 1066MHz as well as DDR3 RAM up to 1333MHz, to show some of the great upgrade options available for consumers who have been waiting for! a low-cost option for a better computer system.

"At £250/$375 the Makos are aimed squarely at the enthusiast crowd and, as they are a 2.1 channel set, at users with somewhat limited desk space. Whilst many gamers will baulk at such a steep price tag for a bundle comprising of merely two channels, these speakers’ specifications are top notch, and with no less than 300W of RMS power available they are more than a match for most surround sounds sets. The all-important frequency response specification also speaks volumes about the Mako's capabilities as it stands at an impressive 25-20,000 Hz."
