In September, Kingston announced they would be hosting a free, online StarCraft 2 in honor of the 10th anniversary of the HyperX product line. The tournament ended up with 720 players, including eight professional players who received invites and were seeded directly into the ladder.

PuMa and YongHwa are the only two who survived to the semifinals, accompanied by Goswser of Team Millenium, and Suppy of Evil Geniuses. In addition, MC from SK Gaming and Jaedong of Evil Geniuses have been invited to the finals match, forming a group of six that will battle a one-on-one, best-of-three group stage format to determine which two players will move on to compete for the prize of $7,000 in the grand finals.
