Despite what the folks in Cupertino may lead you to believe, the netbook form factor will continue to survive in the face of these new-fangled Internet tablets. The technology continues to advance in this realm, introducing us to higher-end finishes and improved horsepower. Just as the Intel Atom N280 provided some good performance upgrades over the N270, the “Pine Trail” Atom N450 is supposed to be pretty hot stuff too.

Making the decision to upgrade to an SSD isn't difficult, but finding the "perfect" SSD is a different story thanks to the sheer amount of choice out there; sometimes even from the same vendor! Fortunately, OCZ's Vertex Turbo delivers a great blend of performance and GB per dollar, making it well worth consideration.

"The Nokia N97 mobile phone is a compact phone with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard and a huge 3.5" touch screen with tilt. I would mostly use this as a personal phone to get all my emails, surf the web, take pictures and videos and of course store them in the huge 32 GB storage space. So I tested it for about two weeks and these are my results."

Objectivity speaking, Thermaltake has designed a good performing chassis at a great price point. Obviously, this chassis isn't for everyone, but for its intended market it is a great value. When you factor in the cost of additional fans, the price point will raise from under fifty dollars to somewhere around sixty five dollars for a properly equipped chassis. Still, the build quality and overall design are a testament to the value of this chassis. I'd happily recommend this case to anyone looking for a good looking case at a modest price point.

Gigabyte announced their new 333 lineup end of November 2009. At the 333 Event Show, however there was no word on the AMD CPU supporting motherboards. Focus was mainly on P55 and X58 series. Getting a speedy introduction to the wonders and miracles of AMD overclocking via HWBOT Country Cup I was eager to review one of Gigabyte's latest high end offering, the 790FXTA-UD5. The A in the name reflects it is a souped up 333 version of the previous model 790FXT-UD5.

Steelseries sent us their Siberia headset Version 2. Quite some time ago we looked at their first version which ended up being one of the most comfortable headsets I have tested in my life. Will this V2 live up to the previous ones, and have they fixed some of the flaws that the reviewers have pointed out?

"The only question Whitesburg may start is, "Why is it based on P55 and not H55?" Blame those who decided on the gradual rollout of the LGA1156 platform. As a result of which, P55 PCH was the only available chipset for the first six months. So, if Intel DP55WB remains one of the cheapest in the market, its life cycle will be long. If similar products based on H55 will be cheaper, then there will be no sense in buying this motherboard."

"Aside from cost and availability there is little to differentiate one Radeon 5870 from another. They all use the same Batmobile-inspired cooler; offer almost the same bundle and identical clock speeds. Asus is aiming to change that by offering a feature unique to its own brand of cards – the ability to tweak the GPU voltage without a need for hardware modification. Today we are going to be evaluating the card’s overall capabilities and testing to see just how much of an advantage this unique “Voltage Tweak” feature provides when overclocking."

Though it's classed as a SFF case, it is quite a bit larger, but still smaller than a full sized case and able to take a micro ATX board and full sized PSU is a bonus. It also accepts multiple drives and has plenty of room for PCI expansion cards.

"The HIS Radeon HD5670 is a very capable card for the cheap price of only US$89 at your favorite online retailer. Although it is not a screamer, at almost half the price of a HD5750, for the moderate gamer, it could be considered quite a deal for a videocard sporting such an impressive stock cooling solution."

"Today I'll be reviewing the SteelSeries 7G - a high end keyboard with a very high end price - around £100. To the average user, £100 for a keyboard seems excessive when you can get an 'el cheapo' one for £10 on the 'Bay, however, enthusiasts and hardcore gamers will know the difference between a £10 mouse and a £50 mouse - let's see if I can see such a distinction between the average budget keyboard I've become used to, and this gaming grade one I've been sent by SteelSeries."
