I've heard bits and pieces of this device and finally got around to actually reading about it. Basically it's an open source Android "console" with a Tegra 3 processor, 1GB Ram and 8GB of Flash storage.
They want to compete with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft but offer their device for 100 bucks and still provide the same experience.

To be honest I don't think they is going to be much mainstream interest in this thing as it will mostly in my eyes appeal to the open-source niche that like to tinker with things.
Now what I do like about this is the possibility of all the emulators you can do with this and just have one giant console to rule them all as well as getting the Indie Devs in the living room without all the hassle they have to go through with the Big 3.
