One thing Intel obviously does that AMD doesnt seem to do is give more details on CPUs Intel
provides max tolerances and other things. I couldnt find this for AMD.

But on the processor I have I found in a web post that it could be 115-120C. That farenheit is
like 230F. I'd almost think the processor would melt at that temp. :evil:

Generally speaking, if you see 80c on your CPU, it's too hot. Now I know people will say "Mine runs 80c all the time, with no problems"

That's fine, I like to keep mine below 60c under load.

60°c, at full load, is what you want to strive for, when overclocking most CPUs. 70°c is the max I'll let it get, but not happy about it.

max i have seen mine at under load is 52c and that is with overclocking it from 3.3 to 4.6.

That's cause the good old Sandy Bridge parts run pretty cold. X58 or Sandy Bridge-E is a much "hotter" part.

Good stuff though, overclocking Sandy Bridge parts is easy as pie.
