Overall and Final Verdict

As always Fractal has stuck with what they do best, a well-built case with clean styling. They didn’t get flashy or go overboard with plastic. Instead they put together a more mature case. Unlike most of their other cases the Arc Mini R2 does have a little more of a focus on airflow where they have been known to focus more on keeping things silent. But building in the fan controller into the front panel should help with noise if it becomes an issue. The tinted side panel window is a perk in my opinion but having seen some of the feedback on a few retail websites, there are a lot of people who wouldn’t mind seeing a model without it as well.

Overall I think Fractal put together another great case at a price point that isn’t too expensive or too cheap considering the build quality that you end up getting. If you are getting a little older like I am and prefer a clean look over anything else the arc Mini R2 fits the bill perfectly.

You might call him obsessed or just a hardcore geek. Wes's obsession with gaming hardware and gadgets isn't anything new, he could be found taking things apart even as a child. When not poking around in PC's he can be found playing League of Legends, Awesomenauts, or Civilization 5 or watching a wide variety of TV shows and Movies. A car guy at heart, the same things that draw him into tweaking cars apply when building good looking fast computers. Man, its crazy how much you have to get done after a vacation. Now that I am back in the office I have so much to do before we head out to Nexus LAN this weekend. I do still have a review for you guys to check out today. Take a look at another Fractal case once again, this time a little smaller. Enjoy!!
