Packaging
The packaging for the Urban Zen is simple and elegant. Again we can see that Eagle Tech went with the green and black color scheme. On the front of the package we get to see the name of the line of products, Arion, as well as Urban Zen, the product name. In the middle we get to see a picture of the design that is on the headset as well as the name Samurai Song, and the subtitle “Strength of Character.” Each of the headphones in the Urban Zen line has a different design, name, and saying or subtitle to go with them. This is cool because it gives consumers a bit of freedom. People might want the Urban Zen headset, but not want to have the same one as their friends; this is an easy solution to that.
On one side we get another look at the design and the overall look of the headset as well as another look at the name of the product, and our specific design. On the other side we get a bit more of the same information, but this time with a different look at the headset. This time we get a look at the foldable design of the headset in a wireframe type of look rather than an actual picture.
Finally on the back we get to the meat of the information. At the top we get a short paragraph explaining what exactly Urban Zen is. This paragraph is followed by a short list of features, which is then followed by a short list of product specifications. Finally near the bottom of the box we get an overview of the package contents.
On the inside of the package we get something very similar to what we saw in the Arion Foldable Bluetooth headset. Inside of the outer box is a smaller white box, and inside of that is another carry/storage case with a carabineer clip on it. The clip was understandable with the portable Bluetooth headset, but with a full size headset like this, I cannot see anyone clipping it onto their pants and leaving. Also inside the box is a small piece of literature with information about the headset, the line of headsets and even some warranty and safety information. Finally we can find the headset tucked away safely inside of the Eagle Tech branded carrying case.
The headphones as we can see certainly look very neat. The design that I received, the “Samurai Song” is a very cool looking design and works very well on the black color of the headset. The added effect of the Japanese characters on the headband brings the whole design together for a cool look that no one would be ashamed to wear. There are other designs in the line as well in case a Samurai isn’t really your thing. There is even a pink headset for the ladies!
