Being the last meeting of CES 2012 I was looking for something to really "Wow" me. I got it but not the way I was expecting it. As I walked up to the booth Tenaya introduced herself and asked me about LanOC. After some small talk she started the demo with their first crack at the "Gaming" headset line. This is something totally new for iFrogz. The first detail that I noticed was the color. It was a pretty slick looking blue with the mic boom in chrome. I had my worries about a short mic boom but unable to use it in game or with Ventrillo so that test will have to wait. Next she said "We have a Call Of Duty demo if you would like to listen to it in game"? Sure, as she turned the Mac around I noticed right away that it was Battlefield 3. Not thinking much of it I moved on to the in game demo. The cans sounded great. Very crisp with good bass. They will rattle your head if you turn them all the way up but overall they sounded great. Again, this was in the middle of CES in South Hall where it's loud as hell. Another gentleman walked up and received the same demo from a different girl working the booth and said the exact same thing, "We have a Call Of Duty demo for you to try". Listen, if you are going to do a demo make sure that they people actually know what the demo is. I am looking forward to seeing if the short mic boom really makes a difference but i'll wait for a review unit. Overall they aren't too shabby for the first crack. They sound good, feel good and look good. What more do you want?
