October 10, 2013 - Valve today announced the Steam Dev Days conference, which will be held in Seattle, Washington in January, 2014.

Steam Dev Days is a by invitation, two-day conference where video game professionals can meet in a relaxed, off the record environment to share design and industry expertise, participate in roundtable discussions, and attend lectures by industry veterans. 

Topics will include game economies, virtual reality, Linux/OpenGL, user-generated content, and more. Developers will also have the opportunity to test-drive and provide feedback on Steam OS, prototype Steam Machines, and Steam Controllers.
