Ready for humpday aka Gaming News day? F1 2011 is out, the Steam Midweek Madness sale includes a bunch of games, the Battlefield 3 beta opens it's doors on the 29th, are Diablo 3 invites going out? I have finished Hard Reset and we have some Left Field stuff at the end. Wednesday is here, lets go!

F1 2011:

Anyone else here have an addiction to something? Mine would be F1. I love the technology that is put into the cars and how hard they are to drive. If you think NASCAR drivers are athletes then F1 is the Olympics of motor racing. I would give this game a big thumbs up but it uses GFWL and we all now how good that service is! If are willing to put up with that then I would pick it up. Last years game was great. You can download it now on Steam for $49.99.

Anybody up for some bundles? If you like a bunch of games for cheap then this is the week to spend some cash. I would pick up the Indie Strategy Bundle for Defense Grid alone. I freaking love that game and I challenge anyone to beat my scores. Either way both bundles are a great deal and you get five games in each. Pick em' both up for "Maximum Gaming".

If one world wasn't enough for you the second Midweek Madness sale will give you Two Worlds for 50% off. Looking over at Metacritic it has a score of 76 which isn't bad but isn't great. Then again for $24.99 you would be hard pressed to find something better. Go ahead and check it out on Steam. As always, the Midweek Madness sale's end at Thrusday at 7pm EST.

The Battlefield 3 open beta starts on the 29th. Just remember that you have to install Origin to join in on the fun. From what I saw in the alpha I hope that they have improved some of the issues that I was having. For some unknown reason I would get a blue filter over the game, it was really strange. So get your mouse and keyboards ready people, this should be entertaining.

Diablo 3

Looks like the first wave of invites have gone out. Check your Battle.net account to see if you recieved an invite. I looked last night and the Blizzard god's have frowned upon me. Hopefully times will take a change for the better. I have never played the Diablo games but from what I have seen so far it looks amazing. Plus with Blizzard being Blizzard  you know they are going to make a top notch game.

So over the weekend I finished up my first playthrough of Hard Reset. For me this might be Game Of The Year material. Now I know what your thinking but these are the types of games that I really enjoy. Anyone could say that Gears 3 is Game Of The Year but I try and be different. Looking past some of the enemies I found a real jewel here. My first run through only took 4 hours. Yes, that isn't much but the game is meant to be played through mulitple times. The two weapons that you start with are just amazing. From converting your rifle into a RPG and a gernade launcher to turning your plasma gun into a electronic mortar and railgun Flying Wild Hog really hit it out of the park. The game ran smooth also. I had to turn down the AA on the LanBox because the FPS would drop under 60 but I still had one level of AA on. I am eagerly awaiting my next playthrough. You can pick Hard Reset up on Steam for $29.99.

Left Field

First off I would like to apologize for this coming out late. Wes and I were up late last night working on fixing the software. Well, it was mostly him fixing stuff. I was just the one that was telling him that it wasn't working, lol. Sorry for the delay.

What is up with Renegade Ops on Steam? All it gives for a release date is September 2011. Hopefully I can get some clarification on a firm release date.

If you still haven't downloaded the Windows 8 Dev Build do so now. I would just recommend not running it as your main OS.

Finally busted out the Go Pro HD Hero cam yesterday. Gonna take it to CES for some crazy coverage on the show floor for everyone. Expect some crazy videos and pics comming soon.

For the longest time I couldn't get my RAM to run at 1600mhz. After searching around the intertubes I found out that they were having problems with my RAM kit. So along with a new RAM kit for the Main Rig I also put more in. Rocking 12gb of DDR3 1600mhz RAM and as of today, Wednesday I can say that it is stable as a rock.

This one is for Wes. Since he wrote the review for the new SteelSeries Sensei I have been foaming at the mouth for it. Now we know that it will be shipping the first week of October.

I will be writing up a article about a recent build that I did for a friend that uses his PC for stock trading. 4 monitors FTW, 2 high by 2 wide! Stay tuned!

Again, I would like to say sorry for the delay of Gaming News.

Have a great rest of the week everyone. Until next week,

I like Sega but
WARNING: The Dreamcast games may run like crap if at all. They are bad xbox ports. Literally. The Genesis collection is missing some games, there is a hard-copy Golden collection that has a few more.
But AvP is worth it. I'd look into Alpha more beforehand, that price seems desperate.

I bought Alpha awhile back for $5. I don't care who you are it's worth it at $2.

I don't care what anyone say's about Railworks but this has been a great game. I bought it when it was around $30. Since then they have updated the hell out of the game. Now, Railworks 3 is out and my Railworks game just auto updated itself to the newest version! That is what I call great game support.

Is that the one you can buy over $1000 of DLC for? I'd say they damn should support the game if they want to put out that much microtransactions. They must be looking at CoD!
