Mafia II is on sale this week. I picked this game up for free and it's easily worth the measily $7.50. If you are in the mood for some old school cars, ladies wit big hats and dudes with the zuit suits then this is the game for you. Hurry though, the offer runs out on Thursday at 7pm EST.

Crazy Taxi:



Does anyone not love Crazy Taxi? This is a great game just to mess around with when your bored. For $8.99 the price may hold some people back but I was one to jump on the bandwagon. It is redone with HD textures and it does look great. It also has controller support for you people that suck at driving games using a keyboard. Pick it up and drop some people off or take them on a Crazy Taxi ride!

Dragon Age 2:

 
So I must admit that I bought Dragon Age about 4 months ago after many reviews of how good it was on PC. I customized my character and was on my way. I was quickly drawn in just like in every Bioware game. The game lost my attention for a bit with Blops calling and other games that came out. Well yesterday, I sat down and put some more time into it and I am once again hooked.  I am about 5 hours into the game and my character weapons are great. What I really like is the weapons are really over the top. His melee weapon is about 6 feet tall and he swings it like a 8 year old playing baseball. It's pretty damn funny to watch him just clobber enemies with this thing. I am still trying to figure the game out but it's not that easy, to say the least. Using the pause menu really seems to help out when you are getting obliterated. As for the performance of the game its great. It should run fine on lower end hardware. I am running it at 1920x1080 with 8x AA and i'm seeing around 150fps. The game also does Surround from Nvidia but I was having issues with pop-in. I finally said enough with it and set it back to the above resolution. I am going to try and burn through this game so I can get to the DLC Awakening and then onto 2. I have high hopes for the second one and I know some of our LanOC members are looking forward to playing the second one.

If you can't pick up Mafia 2 this week while its on sale you can always try and win it at the LAN. We are still trying to work out the details on the give away but you should hear something soon.
