For my suggestion.

Siamese Counter Strike. Played this at a few other LANs. It is CRAZY fun and always gets lots of people involved. What it is..... Counter Strike Source Team deathmatch with a twist. How it works..... You get two player teams. The twist.... EACH 2 PERSON TEAM plays as a SINGLE player. One person controls the mouse the other person controls the keyboard. Trust me when I say it is more than comical watching guys run into walls...not hit an enemy 2 feet in front of them, scream and cuss each other out for being an idiot..that kinda stuff. Usually, people team up on their own. The server gets setup as a standard team deathmatch with a set time and the 2 person team with the highest score wins. It doesn't matter if T or CT wins, just teh 2 player team with the most points is the winner. Hopefully some guys will toss out some input on this and the powers that be will consider adding this to the schedule.

Mega super big bump on this one. I wasn't paying attention to the time frame , we need to get a few more suggestions over the next few days before I put together a poll on what we will lock down as tournaments.

Also please feel free to post different variations on games you would like to see tournaments of. For example

LoL: ARAM 5v5
LoL: Normal Random Teams 5v5
LoL: Normal Bring your own team 5v5
LoL: Normal Bring your own team 3v3

Things like that. It will help us when we put together tournaments to vote on and give us the best idea of exactly what people want to play

Interesting, I'd like to play both of these at this LAN.

I will probably not participate in any of the tournaments since the format has changed to "bring your own team", which just turns into a game of whomever can stack their team the most.

As far as LoL, I'd like to think that BYOT on Summoners Rift would work. I don't have major problems in solo queue, but in a LAN? I've never been successful, mostly because I think people online are interested in playing the game to a competitive degree. Random teams in ARAM could work, as it's easier to lead a random team when everyone is in the same spot. So Random Team ARAMs or 5v5 Normals BYOT.
NOTE: Other games can work with Random teams, because they require less co-dependence. TF2 and most shooters work by just 'shoot enemy', and if your Sniper is dead your team can still fight.

For other games:
Tribes Ascend
Planetside 2 (would be cool if we could get a large squad going)
Worms Re*
Awesomenauts
Payday 1 or 2
Civ 5
Loadout (maybe out of beta by then)
Sanctum 2
SMNC (been awhile, would be fun)
Far Cry 3
Killing Floor

As opposed to what, picking the crappiest teammates possible? It's still infinitely better than random, in my opinion.
