What more can I say. Luckily they're really good with RMAs, but it still sucks.

9 months. The last one I had was about the same. It just died while I using the computer. It froze and then BSOD. Didn't show up in the bios after that.

Nacelle, would this make you switch to another manufacture? Or are you gonna keep going with OCZ?

I have never heard of people going thru SSD's like you.

Its not common, that's for sure.

It will certainly make me consider another brand that I normally wouldn't next time. I've heard they all have similar return percentages. Maybe I just got the short end of the stick this time and got 2 bad ones in a row.

I wonder if they are getting too hot in your case?

According to intel, when speaking with the intel engineer who help design the thier ssd , he sadi they compared all the ssd on the market back in x-25 days and he said intel drives had a .5 chance of failing. and the worst ssd at teh time had a 2% chance while the worst regular hd has about a 10% chance. you must be having bad luck Nacelle

It's definatly not gettng too hot. I have 2 120mm fans on the front of the case that blow air in, across the drives.

I doubt it's a heat thing, my SSD sits below a GTX580 that gets up to 90 degrees Celsius so ti really cooks sometimes.
