Profile(s)

Is it just me, or are there two seperate spots to plug in profile information on this site?
One is "My Profile" that can be found under the advertising banners on the site when looking at the forums. The other is Above the banners at the end (to the right) of the tabs such as Home, Reviews, ...
I've filled out most of the information on both, but why are there two spots? Also the top one says it's 40% complete and if i upload an avatar it'll get to 80%, but as you all can see, my Dollar Sign is my avatar and has been uploaded through the other section.
Just wondering...

one is for the forums the other is for the points system.

So is it important to keep both up to date? Just seemed odd to have two "profiles" on the same site.

It's so you can give two sets of information and thus live a double life... and screw with people's minds.

i just updated the points one to get the points last month for the contest.

i think the forum one is the important one that should be kept up.
