What about tribes next? it's free to download and i'm pretty sure it can hold a large amount of players. (plus my laptop will actually run that well, unlike Shattered Horizons >_> )

Also, to the preson who said there is an eight-player limit to TM: no. More like 30+.

We played it at the 5.5 lan but there were only like six of us.

TM is, in fact, Trackmania. Yes.

Old post bump but is definitely relevant.

I like Battlefield Bad Company 2 although w/o LAN support would have to friend people and join together on servers. But isn't that the point to play with the people we are sitting around. That is why we r all there.

MW2 is always a good one. Although I would have to purchase it for PC. I've done all my playing on 360 for that game.

And Flatout definitely. The last LAN was my first time ever playing it and I made it to the final round and got like 4th or 5th. I caught on quick and loved it!!

I still like the UT games or even an old Quake game

And anything free I didn't have before getting to the LAN LMAO!!! Always a plus...
