The only thing that surprised me was that people who only watched the show made it 3 years without finding out in the first place. No one reads books anymore. T.T

Ive never seen an episode of it. Recently, I've been too busy re-watching Arrested Development to really care about anything else.

I enjoyed this weeks episode, but I enjoyed watching a video of reactions from others even more. I have not read the books, but I did gloss over a summary of them awhile back so I had an idea of where the episode was going about half way through. I still enjoyed it no the less and I eagerly await the next episode to see more.

On a side note, what is heck is arrested development and why do so many people talk so highly of it? I guess I'm missing a few good shows, as a friend suggested I watch Breaking Bad some time ago and I never bothered to.

Level-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable.

Its very funny. If you have Netflix, get started! If you have a torrent client... ;)

THIS! Me and my son both watch this show. He watches on TV as it airs..and I catch it online a day or so later. I told him I will pull his tongue out with pliers if he spills the beans and spoils it before I get around to watching. Last nite I watched it and first thing out of my mouth was WTF? We then talked about it and wow...WTF! LOL

Never saw arrested dev. Prob will not get into it. ROME has been taking up "bored to death time"

Arxon - Of course =D. That is all he does in his books. Lets just say a little girl becomes a face changer.

I agree. Reading these books is well worth it. The show has left A LOT of stuff out that make the story 10 times better.

I'm not a reader. I have the theory that if it's good enough writing, someone will make it into a movie or TV show. I know it's pretty closed minded, but i've never been able to read fiction for pleasure.

anyway, i also watch the show a few days later but facebook had pretty much spoiled it for me by the time i got around to watching it.
Pretty crazy, and i agree, the more readers you talk to wonder why i've invested several seasons of a show without knowing that was going to happen.

Anyway, good series and i look forward to see how the several other story lines progress.

PS - ROME is a really good series, i was sad when that series was over.

Also - Sorry to bring back to life this thread, i don't get on the forums as much as i used to...

I am up to date on the show and read the books, all I can say is do not start liking a character they most likely will be a let down.
