Another "project" that has taken up LOTS of time.

My father is a CAR obsessed kinda guy. Over the past 3 years, I have been helping him with his latest project. Well, it is about finished now. Only a few things left to do. The differential is in need of replacement and still needs to get the interior finished. The car is a 1930 Model A 5 window coupe. It started out as a stock "barn find" and has been transformed into this. My friend Brian painted the body. AMAZING job. I chopped the top (took 3 inches out of the roof height) and did the white firewall, wheels and engine. I also powder coated a bunch of stuff on the suspension, polished too many parts to list and I probably have 2-3 solid days just running the brake lines.

Anyway, here are some pictures. I'm gonna go see if i can find some of it in less finished stages and post em up in a bit.

Engine pix. So much time went into this. Powdercoating, polishing, paint and wiring.

Figure I will answer a question before it is asked. (It is ALWAYS asked when anyone sees these pictures.) What is that RED car in the background? 1960 Ford Sunliner Convertible. That is the last project. Took us 6 years to build it. It has been finished for about 5 or 6 years now. The other black convertible is a 1940 Ford. My father bought it when he was 18 years old. It was his FIRST car. He is now 72 years old. He has owned it all these years.

Couple shots of them.
