New Forums, wait...again?

As someone who's been away from the site for only 3 days, i'mnot a fan of the way it shows every new post on the right instead of the topics and the latest post on each topic...
I did like the small changes to the forums earlier this week, but now i'm just all over the board with how i feel... I'll keep playing and report back

I recommend using the Recent Discussions tab up top, with way the right side is setup currently its easy to see if multiple people post. For example, maybe I don't want to read what Adam has to say, but Dave posted right before him and I really want to read that.

I'm sure you could convince JJ to give you some of his point, i did see you can spend them, but i don't know what you can spend them on yet...

Not gonna lie, I like this half-nekkid girl stuff.

Anyway, the new forums are growing on me (of course this is about a week later everything has been brushed up).

So two more weeks have gone by and i'm really liking the look and feel of the website again. It seems faster (at work) and things are easy to find and i can see the posts that i haven't responded to yet, and the new ones which is a good thing so i can stay connected.
Just wanted to say i liked the site now more than the other trials we had, just in case managment was thinking of tweaking it more

One thing i've noticed is at the bottom of the post on the right, there is a more button. When clicked it doesn't scroll down the list at all, it just seems to refresh the page...

Ha ha, one more thing. Did we loose PM's? I don't see where i can PM someone through the website...

I second this bit of confusion.

They were pretty handy for user-to-user private discussions, although as long as I can find an email or now your IM address, I'm fine.

Is there anyway to have the list of new posts on the right to only display the latest post to each topic?
Example: 5 people post some smack talk on Tiffany's "new" topic, it would only show the last person's post, so that the whole list isn't filled with just replys from that one topic.
Since we've got so many topics going at once (which is awesome) it's hard to keep up with everything that's new, when I can only see the same post 5 times on the listing on the right of the screen...
I know at that last LAN you were able to make it display more posts, to maybe that would be a good alternative also. It's kind of a pain to loan to forum page, then load the main topic, then finally click on the sub topic that had the new post.
Maybe i'm being lazy, but i check this site from work most of the time, so the quicker i can get on, post a reply, and get off, the less likely of being caught by my boss on a non-work site
