Titanfall Beta

Anyone else get an invite, anyone else going to be playing tonight? I know I am!

Some of the most fun I've had with a shooter since Call of Duty 4. Absolutely loving it so far.

I just preordered it downloading the beta right now.

Wes this game is amazing. The maps are huge but the action and movement are so fast paced it doesn't matter. Each team will have NPC grunts and they will talk to each other about what is going on if you listen closely. There is crazy parkour style jumping and running off of walls. Awesome fights inside of the titans are fun and smooth. Initially there were problems with the servers on friday but after that was resolved I had no problem joining a match and rarely saw my ping go above 50 or so. Also at the end of the game there is the Epilogue. When one team is destined to win the other team will try to make an evac. They have to get to the top of the building where the evac point is and jump onto the drop ship. This sends the winning team to search and destroy mode, hunting down any of the enemies trying to evacuate. Which is much nicer than an abrupt ending with just a score screen showing up.

This game is a breath of fresh air from all the FPS releases lately. It adds a lot of new elements to the genre that give it a new life. So far, it is the most fun I've had in an online FPS for a long time. I will definitely be picking this up when it releases next month.
