STEAM Summer Sale is Live

Well it is that time again where Valve and its partners make us spend money on great games for pennies on the dollar.

They are also having some interesting ticket system where you play your games to earn a special achievement which then allows you to redeem the "tickets" to get special game DLC.

They are also granting 100 people to nab their Top 10 games in their wish list.

So get those wallets out and start to spend some cash money.

The store is running slow today. Lots of people buying games I guess.

For El'Cheapo, Just Cause 2 is a steal at $5.

If you like God of War and Zelda you'll like it, because it's basically a mix of those.

For those of you that are interested, Age Of Conan is now free to play.

Today's picks are Assassins Creed 1,2,3. Dragon Age, Defense Grid and for the "Out on a limb" game Transformers.

Torchlight is another good one for under 5

The freebie version restricts mods, map editors and challenge missions but allows you to play the campaign and I'm not sure about multiplayer.

I heard that multiplayer is in it. I haven't tried it. I wonder how good it would be for a LAN?

It probably would be okay for a LAN but the map is huge so teams might just be wandering around in the middle of nowhere looking for each other.

On another note I haven't bought much so far with the sale except Magicka Complete and the new Mount and Blade. Seems like its the same games on sale that I already own or see all the time and not interested but I hope these next couple of days gets some goodies in there.

I got Magika too. It's pretty fun. Hard, but fun. I'm hoping on the last day Portal 2 gets a massive discount.

Alpha Protocol was yesterday's pick. $5 for a game is nothing. I spend that for lunch. Looks like Ramen noodles today.

Well it just freshed again and not a whole lot this time around. I would pick up Civ 5 but 25 bucks no thanks. Wings of Prey is about the only thing that looks enticing.

I did Guild Wars and Stalker:Clear Sky to complete my collection.

Civ 5 is worth the $25 IMO.

Was looking at Shift 2 but I held off.

I'm also thinking of CoD 4 not because its Call of Duty but because the Star Wars mod finally came out after being in development for almost 3 years and at 10 bucks doesn't seem to bad.

Ah Galactic Empire, oh the fun I had with that mod.

Well another day of games and I don't know about you bros but its been pretty lack luster so far.
