Yeah, I'm almost level 28 in Bad Company 2. I'll have to see if I can get my dynamic signature working again.

I like how this topic is titled BFBC2 but is all about MW2.

whats mw2 ????? is that like cod 1-5 wher you going around shooting people in their feet and they die or throw granades into spawns areas . wow they're just to many games out there.

That's how the tourney was played at Nexus and it was super hard for newer people who don't know the maps... Plus unless you "cheat" and get the level 55 stuff, your little peashooter doesn't do anything against the guys who have the body aromor & huge scopes on their guns! I guess if no-one did the cheat and only had level 22 weapons, it wouldn't be that bad, but when everyone else has the super guns, it's simply not fair.

Nah, I'm just not really a fan of it for objective-based game modes.

Even without the patch, you're still going to have players who have actually leveled to 55 and those who just picked the game up.

And I'm not too familiar with the hardcore setting, despite having my ass handed to me at previous LANs. Is it basically one-hit kills and no map?

It's not one hit kills, but bullet damage is greatly increased. You can usually kill people in 2-3 hits, so SMGs and the like just level people.

Actually, hardcore mode makes it a lot easier for people who don't have unlocks, because it makes much less of a difference how good of a gun you have.

umm...it's pretty much a 1-hit kill but not quite...maybe a 2-hit kill lol and if I remember correctly you don't get those white aimer lines when you're not scoped in, and no mini-map unless you have UAV I think. Don't quote me on this lol haven't played it in awhile.

At least in MW2, I don't usually survive an engagement with an opponent if I don't kill them first. So to me it just seems like it speeds things up a little bit.

I Love hardcore. In MW2 most (not all) people who play hardcore won't use noobtubes, rpg's or akimbo weapons. It takes 1-2 shots (if you have good aim) to kill someone... there is no "mini map" in the corner, unless you get a uav... so if you don't know the maps it could be a little more difficult. like Lersar said it seems to seeed things up a little bit... the downfall of hardcore (especially in game modes like search and destroy) there are a lot more campers.

They took away my favorite game mode in MW2, which was Hardcore Free-for-all. For this, I shall never forgive them.

aw well maybe with the new expansion pack they will have your beloved game mode. lol I heard that along with a few new maps that they will have a new game type or two

I'm not paying for DLC on PC. I feel bad enough for buying this game in the first place. It's fun, but it represents a major step backwards for PC gamers.

I purchased cod4 and never should have because I didnt get any enjoyment ut of it. just not a fan
