Ok I am due for my upgrade for my verzion phone and was trying to figure out which one i should get any good ideas? Oh and no iphone

iPhone 4s
Galaxy Nexus
Droid 4

Those are the phones that I would buy. I would buy the Galaxy Nexus as the default Android phone and the Droid 4 if you want a keyboard. iPhone 4s if you want an Apple device.

4g should be a minimum requirement.

I would, everyone forgets about HSPA+ and you shouldn't. Sure, in Van Wert I get poop for service and Verizon works great. The problem for me is LTE is something that you have to turn on. With HSPA+ it's always that fast as long as you have a connection. I had 4g on Sprint with my EVO and it was a battery drain. Sure, stuff has become better but i'll take HSPA+ over LTE any day. LTE is faster though, i'll give you that.

And no, I don't want an extended battery or to carry around a second one.

Not 4g, but I think iPhone 4s is a good choice. Except a new one may be right around the corner. You can get it on the Verizon. Tons of apps and the most accessories around. Also as far as the speed on the phone and responsiveness, the 4s is blazingly fast. The surfing isn't bad and the battery life is a little meh but the phone charges quickly even from a USB port.

+1 for the Razr. Having seen it in person, it is a sexy handheld.

That being said, I have nothing to contribute about actual performance.

Windows phone

Agreed with thumper! Been using WP7 for a year now, and couldn't think of anything else. Expect to see some good LTE WP7 handsets soon.

Thank you all for your input i looked at all the phones you said i chose to go with the razor as my new phone if there was a windows based phone with lte it would have made my choice even harder cause i do think a windows phone would have been nice thanks again all
